Missing link

"I wish i would have bought these a long time ago. Squatting with good position is so much easier now. The heel is just high enough to keep the chest high while in the hole of the squat, and the wide toe box allows my feet to spread naturally while the whole foot feels stable in the movement."

Best lifter I’ve ever had hands down

"Not only do I love the design and the colors, they’re comfortable and functional. They’re an incredible lifter, best I have ever had, the most sturdy shoe that allows you to lift with confidence and support unlike any other. I found my forever lifting shoe I will always come back to TYR!!"

Big help for heel lift!

"I have a problem with my heels lifting off when doing squats. These shoes help me drive with my heels to lift the weight. Are they comfortable shoes? Honestly not really. They are built like a tank made to lift weight. They hug your feet tighter than any shoe I have worn but they fit. I wear a 12 extra wide or an 13 if no wider sizes are available and I ordered a 13 so you may want to size up one to get a good fit. I wish more stores carried these! If you can try them on before buying, you should!"

squats, hack machine, leg press

"This was my first time using weightlifting shoes for squats, and they exceeded my expectations. The shoes are incredibly firm and stable, giving me the confidence to handle heavy weights. They provide an excellent, planted feel throughout the lift, making squats feel much more secure. I highly recommend them if you're serious about strength training."

Good fit, poor shoe quality

"I bought these shoes about a month ago so I wanted to take some time first to use them and get a good feel for them. The fit is great, I usually get a 9 for every day shoes and I did the same for my lifters and they fit comfortably. This is my first TYR shoes and everyone raves about the wide toe box, it’s definitely a design staple and a plus. It’s really nice to be able to get that added flexibility in my toes and the wide box doesn’t put so much stain on my feet. Tight shoes cause bad posture, knee pain and over all poor feet health. I love how the shoe fits over all but the materials are poor. I’ve already had sole detaching issues and I only wear these on the platform. I would suggest getting ones that don’t have this silicon like gum bottom because I already have chucks coming off around my heel. Other than that I enjoyed the shoe."

Great for stability

"These shoes can make a difference especially if using regular shoes for weightlifting makes you struggle with stability and firmness on the floor. I've used just a couple of times and was able to notice a slight improvement with my posture, torso and ankles are better positioned. The straps make you feel like you have the shoes attached on your feet without any gaps. They are not suited for all types of movements though - for deadlifts for example, they can make you lean more forwards than you want. In general, a good investment if you are getting serious about heavy olympic weightlifting."

Feet Don't Hurt

"I've worn lifting shoes for years and they've always hurt my feet by cramming my toes into such a tiny narrow toe box. Finally I have a pair that fit perfect! Everytime I put them on, I'm surprised that my feet don't hurt!"

Men’s L-2 Lifter

"Love the shoe. Sized up 1/2 and it fits perfect. Still gave it a 5 on comfort, but this shoe is not meant to be walking around, it’s made for lifting heavy weight and stability throughout the lift."

David P. (5/5)

"These are my second pair of lifters (I uave the L-1s as well) and they feel great. Wore them on my last heavy squat and bench day with no feet slipping at all. When squatting i could feel the drive through my feet as i pushed. I cant wait to wear these on the platform for my interational competition coming up."
