Men's L-2 Lifter - Steel Blue

The Technology Stack

21mm Heel-to-Toe Drop

The defining specification of a dedicated weightlifting shoe. A 21mm heel elevation shifts the athlete's centre of gravity forward, improving ankle dorsiflexion for deeper squat depth, promoting a more upright torso position, and maximising power transfer through the kinetic chain. The result: more weight moved with better form, every session.

Patented Wide Toe Box

TYR's patented wide toe box allows the foot to splay naturally under load — the way the foot is designed to generate force. Greater ground contact means greater stability, better balance, and reduced foot fatigue through heavy training sessions. The single most praised feature across 429 customer reviews.

Rigid TPU Midsole + Heel Counter

Zero-compression stability under maximum load. The TPU midsole provides ultra-durable lateral and heel support, eliminating the energy loss and lateral movement that soft-soled training shoes introduce under a barbell. The heel counter enhances rearfoot stability for confident lifts every time. When the bar is loaded, the shoe does not move.

Adjustable Double Leather Straps

Two adjustable leather straps secure the midfoot with precision — a level of lockdown that laces alone cannot achieve. Dial in the fit to your exact preference before every session. The finger loop at the rear makes entry and exit effortless between sets.

TYRTAC™ Rubber Outsole

TYR's proprietary rubber compound delivers exceptional grip on any platform surface. Keeps you grounded through every lift and movement — from heavy back squats to clean and jerks to snatch work.

Protective Front Toe Guard

Maximum protection and durability for high-impact training. Reinforces the toe box against the demands of rope climbs, box step-ups, and the general wear of daily training.

Size & Fit

A dedicated weightlifting fit. The L-2 is built to be worn snug — the double strap closure allows precise adjustment, so the shoe should feel secure and locked-in, not loose.

Important sizing note: The L-2 runs small. The majority of reviewers recommend sizing up half a size, particularly if you have a wider foot or higher instep. If you are between sizes, size up.
