Engineered for elite performance, the Women’s TYR Hurricane® Wetsuit Cat 5 Sleeveless utilizes a slew of advanced features to provide optimum stability, maximized speed and energy efficiency in the water.

First up? The triathlon world’s most premier wetsuit fabrication: Yamamoto neoprene. Specifically employed for triathletes that are elite level swimmers, Yamamoto is used to drastically reduce restriction on the body, creating the feeling of a second skin. Through a combination of comfort and uninhibited movability, Yamamoto optimizes both speed and control in the water.

At TYR Sport we believe that having the best wetsuit begins with having the best fabrication. As a result, every Cat 5 TYR Hurricane® is constructed with 44 Cell Yamamoto neoprene. In addition, the process of Super Composite Skin (SCS) Nano Coating is used alongside the fabrication to enhance comfort and freedom of movement. With both hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties, SCS repels water, ensures high heat retention for decreased body fatigue and boasts incredible durability to prevent abrasions and increase product life. Rather than a standard seam construction, each Cat 5 also utilizes speed wrap paneling to comfortably hug and hold you in.

Each and every HCAFSF6A wetsuit also includes elevation panels, quick release ankle cuffs, an innovative antimicrobial lining and state-of-the-art range of motion zones.

All TYR Hurricane® wetsuits are WTC (Ironman) / USAT legal.

Great fit! Great wetsuit!

"I had purchased a Roka wetsuit when I began my triathlon journey in 2023! Within a month or two the seam down the leg ripped, Roka sent me a new one. Fast forward 2026 the day before Ironman Lake Placid in my practice swim my wetsuit ripped to the point it was unusable. (It started to fray on the inside but I didn’t think much of it!) My coach let me use her TYR wetsuit - it fit like a glove! I reached out to Roka explaining what happened sent proof of all purchases, tears, etc and the best they could do was give me a 20% off coupon. I signed up for TYR texts/emails and received a 15% coupon! I was so excited to try a new company after being so disappointed in Roka- which is a sponsor for Ironman events! This wetsuit is so comfortable and easy to put on! I am looking forward to continuing my Ironman journeys in my new TYR wetsuit! (Another friend pictured wearing TYR!)"
