Reviews

Not the one for me

"I have the CXT 2 and love it. I did not like the CXT 2 Carbon at all. The ankle comes up higher and the tongue of the shoe was at least an inch up my ankle. I exchanged for the CXT 3 and absolutely love it! Especially the pink. This model just didn’t do it for me!"

Fair

"I looked at these for a while prior to purchase, read a number of reviews. I crossfit 5x/week. Was looking for a new brand for my trainers. I have normal archs and narrow feet. No current foot issues. I like the support of these, they are comfortable while standing. However, I have found them to run small , and the toe box is very narrow. Alternatively, the heel is very boxy. I exchanged my normal size for half size up and they still are too small. But I wore them a few times, so stuck with them. I was hoping for some stretch with wear, but no. Expensive experiment. Bummed because I really wanted to like these. I like the clothing, but the trainers didn't work for me."

Not true to size

"This shoe is about an inch smaller than the CXT-1 that I have worn for a couple of years. Disappointed since many reviews said it was true to size. I am exchanging for either a half size or a full size up because I love the looks of this shoe!"

The perfect trainer

"I love my CXT-2 Elites. I had been a long time metCon fan but the new versions are more like the overrated “squishy” soled ON shoes, which are terrible for lifting. TYR knows how to build trainers and lifters."

Ryan D. (5/5)

5 Star shoe

"Fit is amazing. A nice an d roomy toe box, and a stable base. These shoes perform perfectly for metcons with any type of weight lifting."

David H. (5/5)

Agile and stable

"I love my CXT-2’s!! I have had zero slips in them and never felt more stable in a shoe during a WOD. Absolutely love them."

Josh B. (5/5)

Great shoe

"I’m going to re-order the shoe but I ordered it in my correct size and it was almost a full-size two small"

"Lifters I can comfortably jog 600 meters in. Nice shoe for climbing 30’ rope."

Brian M. (5/5)

Like the shoe -guidance on fit was terrible so they don’t fit well, good product , sizing is a huge problem -doubt I’d buy these again

"Good shoe Bad process to fit -resulting in a bad fit"
