I've had 5 different brands

"I've had 5 different brands of running shoes. Nike - worst, Saucany - 4th, NB - 3rd, Altra - 2nd, and TYR -1st. This is my 2nd pair of Mavericks and love them. 7. 7 Oz, wide toe box and heel, and comfortable. I love my Mavericks so much I bought a pair of Speedworks and RD-1X's also."

Review

"Shoes are extremely light, coming from the new Balance 1080s. Was not wearing high ankle socks, I started to get blisters on the back of my heels about 2 miles in."

Andrew B. (4/5)

Made for me

"Wow! These running shoes fit perfectly. They fit my heels like a glove, no rubbing and the total fit is very comfortable."

Michelle F. (5/5)

GREAT FOUNDATION!

"When you build something it all starts at the foundation, and my feet are my foundation and lifeblood to keep me moving and caring for patients. The very durable, lightweight, and breathable shoes are a great foundation to my daily work schedule and workouts. They have been extremely durable, and I am tough on shoes."

More than expected

"Skeptical due to the lack of knowledge of this company, but stepped out and purchased the shoe based upon reviews. More than expected was an understatement. . . . . . far exceeded my expectations in comfort, style, and durability. I spend 12 to 16 hours on my feet in a clinic, and these shoes make the cut day in and day out!!!"

Fun for my runs!

"They fit well and are fun to run in! I only have an issue with the height of the back. It gave me a blister on my first run. BUT - I just wear some tall socks and have no issues."

Runners

"Didn’t work for my feet. Felt good walking, but running didn’t feel stable. Soft, but not enough stability. Also felt like too much of a drop when I was running. Looking for more of a neutral and less drop shoe with more stability. This is not for me."

Raymond F. (3/5)

Great , wrong size for me

"Shoes felt fine. Unfortunately had to return them. I had picked to wrong size."

John J. (4/5)

Good idea not executed the greatest

"Squishiest shoes ever great for reducing bottom of foot pain. Toe box and forefoot areas are much too narrow. Seriously considering taking scissors to these to make room. Height inside the shoe is really cramped for want of width not present. Traded the paper-thin placeholder for an insole with a compact cushion and seeing if the laces area will stay stretched over the foot. Took half a mile of walking to break in that forefoot lacing hard plastic backing to stop folding a crease that pressed right into my foot. May try stretching the fabric before the scissors. Walked two 5k's in these now. Bottoms of feet feel great from these but pinky toe rubbing hard is concerning. The materials of this shoe are good but the shape is a significant miss, especially since Tyr has something against recognizing that different feet are different widths and putting clown shoe on really screws up gait cycles. Forced to rate durability of a squishy shoe after only 7mi on it, while it's too soon to tell, have to assume the worst. These have only been tested for walking."

Excellent shoe

"Plenty of room for the toes. Light weight and quality support with every stride."
