    Great top w/ one irritation

    The simple built-in bra (similar to a swimsuit shelf bra) is a good compromise. Not as supportive as a standard sports bra, but at least you don’t have a lot of extra fabric or seems (which would get annoying/bulky/abrasive once wet) and it should work for various breast sizes. I like more support for running, so I wear a simple, quick-drying bra underneath.

    One design flaw: the stiff seems at the top of the zipper area cut into my upper chest. Over the course of a race/workout, they rub 2 distinct abrasions. The designers sewed in extra fabric to prevent the zipper from rubbing, but the extra layer makes that seem thicker and stiffer, which makes the problem worse. The 2nd time wearing the top, I applied body glide under the seems and tucked the left-hand seem as far as possible under the fabric flap, but the right-hand seem still left me a nice little wound.

    The fit is tight, but once I manage to get it on, I’m glad for that. If in doubt, order a size up. I often wear a L (my Tyr bra size is L), but I definitely need XL in this top.

    So far I’ve worn this for one long training session (2 hours) & one Sprint Triathlon, and it works well for all 3 disciplines.
