Weighing just 5.3 oz (150 g), the VE2 combines HYPERLAUNCH™ foam with a full-length carbon POWERPLATE for energy return, stability and a propulsive toe-off. The SPDWEAVE™ mesh upper provides a secure race-day fit, while the TYRTAC™ outsole adds traction and durability across changing conditions.     Have not raced in these yet, but workouts have been fast, light, responsive, but cushioned. I need to see how they perform on race day, local 5k this weekend. Great shoe thus far !

    Straight Ripper

    Amazing shoe. Only tested it once on a progressive 21 mile long run with last 3 miles at (6:00m/mi). Was enough for me to confirm I’m taking it for my upcoming marathon. This shoe has everything you need in a great racer it’s bouncy, soft(not squishy), responsive, fantastic energy return, stable(mid foot/forefoot striker) and comfy. Turn over is extremely easy with how light the shoe is. Feel as if this shoe was made for me. I feel like a shill but would recommend 10/10
