Men's Maverick-V1 Runner

I’ve only got 30ish miles in them, but I’m loving the fit and performance. I run on gravel roads and worried about the softer sole compound, but it’s holding up well. The wider to box is great and the responsive feel is noticeable immediately. I’m excited to see how they last over a couple hundred miles.

The Maverick V1 is a true competitor compared to the other brands models in the same category . My first run was meant to be a quick 10k before work and turned into 8 miles because it was so light and comfortable I just wanted to go fast.

The upper is breathable especially for those humid conditions here in Hawaii. My feet are slightly wide and these shoes have enough room for me to get a good lockdown using the runners knot. The foam feels good when I start my warmup and comes alive when I pick up speed and plenty stack height to keep my legs fresh. The grip does well on wet roads compared to some of its well known competitors. I feel like TYR is a slept on brand when it comes to the running community and I can’t recommend TYR enough to people who love running. The Valkyrie elite carbon, speedworks, and now Maverick makes a perfect trifecta.
