Boasting features that minimize drag and maximize speed, the Women's TYR Hurricane® Wetsuit Cat 1 is the ideal choice for beginner and aspiring triathletes looking to improve performance in the water.

Constructed with our state-of-the-art slick skin neoprene, every HCAOF6A wetsuit is reliable, resistant to abrasions and provides high heat retention. As one of the triathlon industry’s most durable textiles, slick skin neoprene is also designed to ensure a comfortable fit. Rather than a standard seam construction, each Cat 1 utilizes speed wrap paneling in the legs, chest and core to comfortably hug and hold you in.

In addition, Cat 1 wetsuits also include quick release ankle cuffs, form-fitting wrist cuffs and state-of-the-art range of motion zones.

    I loved it

    I’m not gonna like is really hard to put it on but after you figure it out gets easier, I did my first open water swim and was really impressed I loved it :u1F970: I’m excited to wear it for my first 70. 3 Ironman

    A Great Wetsuit, True to Size Chart

    This is my first wetsuit, I bought it for my first 70. 3 Ironman (predicted 57F water temp) in about 4. 5 months. When it first arrived I was delighted with how beautiful and sleek the packaging was! I was even more excited when I saw the wetsuit itself! The wetsuit came with a carrying bag and hand/foot covers for a smoother entrance. As to be expected, it was a workout putting it on the first few times but I eventually found a system of rolling it on that seems to work well. The material feels very high quality and the changes in thickness around the shoulders etc really make a difference in the water. I saw other reviews about this suit online (SwimOutlet etc) saying that if you are between sizes to size down and I think I misinterpreted that because the chart recommends a M/L for me so I chose a M -- I am only now realizing that is definitely not what they meant about being between sizes. Luckily I think the M still fits just fine (granted I don't have prior experience with wetsuits)! I am 5'7"" tall and I weigh about 136 lbs. I have only swam 1. 2 miles in it so far but during that swim I couldn't seem to catch my breath during rest intervals. I think that is mainly because the wetsuit is still yet to be broken in and I'm not used to such a strong material around my torso in the water. I am hoping as I break it in more this issue will dissipate as it can be an unsettling feeling in the water but it quickly disappears with a quick unzip and rezip. Overall it is a great…

    Beyond Expectations

    I bought this wetsuit for my first upcoming 70. 3 IM (water temps 57 F). So far everything is beyond expectation, just hoping I can break it in quickly before the race. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a carrying bag and hand/foot coverings for a smoother entrance! I am 5'7"" and I weigh 136 lbs and a M fits perfect! Overall its an amazing wetsuit with a great price.

    Great wetsuit

    Smooth fit, very buoyant, comfortable to swim in. I'm 5'8"" and 130ish lbs and took a M/L size.
