"I didn't realized the shorts were lined when I ordered them, and when I discovered that I thought it was a bad thing. Turns out they work out really well for walking or running and even around the house. However, I would not lift in the lined shorts. Reason being is because I'm 5'11 256 lbs and the liner+the waistband does not hug my hips as well as the unlined pair and they are susceptible to sorta riding downward. But for around the house and walking or running or even the elliptical they will work out just fine."
