Great shoe for Lifting!

"Love this shoe. Bought the Dropzero 1's and wore them out! Was excited to give these a try and they are just as comfortable. It's crazy because I also use these for days with a lot of walking too. I think they're really comfortable and worth the price for both lifting support and comfort for walking!"

Great shoe for training

"The DropZero 2 is my new go-to shoe for weight training and gym use. It doesn’t sound like much to ask for a flat, simple, minimalist shoe with a proper toe box and flexible upper that can secure to the foot, but it was surprisingly difficult to find something. These shoes just do what they need to do and stay out of the way, if that makes sense. It’s like they’re an extension of my foot without any added bulk, which I appreciate in the gym. My pair is the Sail color, which looks nice, but scuffs quite easily. I don’t mind that, but if you prefer a pristine look you may want to consider one of the darker colors. My feet are long and narrow, and still felt comfortable in this shoe, both with and without socks. I found them true to size compared to other brands. The DropZero 2 is plenty breathable and comfortable even for longer sessions. This is my first purchase from TYR and it has exceeded my expectations. I think they’ve built a winner."

Good shoe but no tongue

"Shoe is ultra lightweight, flat and flexible. I use it exclusively for weight training. The wide toe box allows my toes to spread, adding stability during squats and deadlifts. My only complaint is that there is no tongue, so the fabric over the instep bunches up when I tighten the laces. This “ no-tongue” design looks clean but is less comfortable and less stable than my Merrell Vapor Trail 7’s."

Comfy but lacking

"Comfortable and fit good, but the straps on the back to help get them on have already started to rip after only two times wearing them."

Easy slip on barefoot shoe

"Perfect for deadlifts! And for me having longer femurs I also use them for squats. Although the back loop is no loop. There is no where to put your thumb or finger through. You can only grab that. Therefore id say that is the only down side to these."

"Very narrow shoes. Misleading. They’re not barefoot. If you compare them to Reebok and Nike weight training shoes ,the toebox is the same. It’s zero drop with close to the ground sole but that’s it. It should just be advertised as zero drop training shoes. Barefoot shoes on Amazon have true barefoot toe boxes."

Flexible and perfectly grippy

"Great barefoot shoe for the gym"

Fixed my squat pains

"The grip on the surface these shoes achieve is incredible. It made me so much more confident in my form because of how much easier it is to feel your inner balance wearing these. The room the shoe provides for toes to spread make my stance so much more secure. There's where my confidence comes from."

Less Volume Than the Previous Shoe

"I loved my the previous DropZero and was looking forward to an improved shoe. Sadly I couldn't fit these due to the decreased volume."

Lloyd G. (3/5)

Good quality

"The shoe is designed well and of good quality. They run big though. I usually wear a size 10, but I should have gotten a 9. 5."
