Boasting features that minimize drag and maximize speed, the Women's TYR Hurricane® Wetsuit Cat 1 Sleeveless is the ideal choice for beginner and aspiring triathletes looking to improve performance in the water.
Constructed with our state-of-the-art slick skin neoprene, every HCAOSF6A wetsuit is reliable, resistant to abrasions and provides high heat retention. As one of the triathlon industry’s most durable textiles, slick skin neoprene is also designed to ensure a comfortable fit. Rather than a standard seam construction, each Cat 1 utilizes speed wrap paneling in the legs, chest and core to comfortably hug and hold you in.
In addition, Cat 1 wetsuits also include quick release ankle cuffs.
All TYR Hurricane® wetsuits are WTC (Ironman) / USAT legal.

Good suit good buoyancy
"This is a great suit. I do have wider rib cage so I probably should have done one size up. I also have big shoulders so I kind of rolled up the shoulder cap part of the suit so I wouldn't be restricted. This suit does provide a lot of buoyancy. It just takes a long time to get on."

"Seriously Tyr, what is the deal with your sizing? Are larger women not allowed to buy wetsuits? I'm an average height and weight (BMI is problematic but I'm a "normal weight" BMI) and I'm wearing a XL wetsuit, THE LARGEST WETSUIT YOU MAKE. If I gained weight, would I be too fat to be a Tyr customer? What about the many, MANY athletic women who are larger than I am? XXL is only for men? Don't like how size-ist your company is. The suit itself is fine."
