Good fit, poor shoe quality

"I bought these shoes about a month ago so I wanted to take some time first to use them and get a good feel for them. The fit is great, I usually get a 9 for every day shoes and I did the same for my lifters and they fit comfortably. This is my first TYR shoes and everyone raves about the wide toe box, it’s definitely a design staple and a plus. It’s really nice to be able to get that added flexibility in my toes and the wide box doesn’t put so much stain on my feet. Tight shoes cause bad posture, knee pain and over all poor feet health. I love how the shoe fits over all but the materials are poor. I’ve already had sole detaching issues and I only wear these on the platform. I would suggest getting ones that don’t have this silicon like gum bottom because I already have chucks coming off around my heel. Other than that I enjoyed the shoe."

"These are my second pair of lifters (I uave the L-1s as well) and they feel great. Wore them on my last heavy squat and bench day with no feet slipping at all. When squatting i could feel the drive through my feet as i pushed. I cant wait to wear these on the platform for my interational competition coming up."

Love these Lifters!

"Upgraded from the L-1. Instantly noticed an improvement, just love the feel and balance, the fit seems a little better than the L-1s. Bought this color at first because they were on sale but I actually really love the funkiness, a total change from my all black L-1s/ I look forwarded to using these for a long time!"

Best Lifters

"I love these TYR Lifters. This is the first pair of TYR lifters, or shoes, I've ever worn and I absolutely love them. For the past 20 years I've used Adidas, Reebok, and mainly Nike Romaleous lifters, but in my opinion these TYR Lifters are far superior. The wide toe box is the key ingredient to me as well as the overall build, design, and intentionality. Thanks for doing such a great job!"

"Too stiff around my ankle. They hurt. And thr bend in the toe area hurts. I tried on my friend’s L-1 before buying theee and thry were so comfortable. These are so stiff all round they literally hurt my feet. I bought them for the wide toes box due to a Morten’s neuroma in my left foot but these do not stop the pain. Really disappointed."

Job Well Done

"The wide toe box is legit, coming from other lifters, my toes never felt more free. The only thing I'd suggest is going up half size, only because it knda squeezes the sides of your feet. But overall good!!!"

Still Breaking In but Nothing but Love

"I have only had a few sessions using my new L-2 lifters. I love the color and look of them, and they are definitely a big improvement over my old lifters! The wider toe box is nice, and they are much more comfortable than my old Reeboks!"

Tristan T. (5/5)

Better than expected

"These lifters are great. Better than I expected. These are my first pair of lifters and I can feel the difference. Great stability and not sure if it’s a placebo effect or that I really do have the (extra) power. I went up a half size."

Joshua C. (5/5)

Men's L-2 lifter

"My L-2 lifters are really helping my squats. I'm glad I took the advice on alot of reviews to up a half size from my normal size. Good shoe for now; no complaints."
