Reviews

Good shoe but no tongue

"Shoe is ultra lightweight, flat and flexible. I use it exclusively for weight training. The wide toe box allows my toes to spread, adding stability during squats and deadlifts. My only complaint is that there is no tongue, so the fabric over the instep bunches up when I tighten the laces. This “ no-tongue” design looks clean but is less comfortable and less stable than my Merrell Vapor Trail 7’s."

Fixed my squat pains

"The grip on the surface these shoes achieve is incredible. It made me so much more confident in my form because of how much easier it is to feel your inner balance wearing these. The room the shoe provides for toes to spread make my stance so much more secure. There's where my confidence comes from."

I really like it

"I really like it. Its comfy and feels great except that part around the from part of my ankle. It’s squeezing a bit, I’m breaking it in to see if it will start to not pressure that part of my feet too much. A mean I like that It fits snug but it’s a little too snug there. Love it enough that I ordered another of the same color and a white one. For performance, comfort, fit and durability I can’t give “excellent” because of what I stated. As for durability I can’t say yet because I’ve only worn it intermittently for like a week."

"Love the wide toe box, fits like a glove! Definitely love the updated edition! I have a pair of the first gen drop zero, didnt think yall could do better and y'all proved me wrong! Great investment!"

Paul (5/5)

"I received the drop zero 2's in the mail yesterday. Absolutely disappointing. Extremely uncomfortable shoes. Had to order half size down compared to my usual size 11-11. 5. Because when I ordered the Drop Zero 1's last year I went true to size, they were too long. Now that I sized half a size down, the pressing on the heel is absolutely insane. Much worse than the DZ-1's. Even just taking a few steps in these shoes feel agonizing. Removing the insole helped a bit, but it's still unbearable. Funny how this channel puts such a large emphasis on wide toe boxes for toe splay, yet no emphasis for those with wide heels. I ordered a pair of Reebok Nano XV's before ordering the Drop Zero 2's; had to return those because the heel was way too narrow as well. Disappointing that I can't seem to find a company that can accommodate for wide heels especially with accessory navicular bones. If you have wide heels, I would not recommend these barefoot shoes"

Comfy but lacking

"Comfortable and fit good, but the straps on the back to help get them on have already started to rip after only two times wearing them."
