Reviews

"I’m new to wearing this brand of shoes! I actaully love them better than NoBulls. They are a lot more comfortable to train in and have a deceivingly wide toe box; which I really like. I’d say the toe box is a positive compare to the Nano 2’s wide toe box. But, without the clown shoe look. I’ve received many compliments. The color… my favorite. Will be buying my teenage a pair soon!!"

Loose Insole

"My experience with these shoes has been great overall. My main issue is the insole in one shoe is loose. When I’m doing any activity it pushes back with the insole going up my heel. I’ve only had them for 3 months. But when it comes to short runs and lifting they are a great all around shoe. I get I can buy a new insole or glue it. But I don’t think this should be necessary within three months of use for $160."

Falling apart in less than a month

"This is my first experience with TYR brand and I must say I am highly disappointed with it. I have been using the shoes ONLY in gym where I go twice a week for hr and a half. I lift weights followed by walking on treadmill for 30 mins. Having used these shoes for 4 weeks I notices a top rubberised seal is coming off the shoe. It is located exactly where the shoes get bent when you are walking. I did not expect this to happened for this price."

Good shoe

"I have been slowly wearing this shoe for longer amounts of time over the last week. I bought a half size above my normal size which was perfect. The front mesh over the toe box got a stain on it already, which had to be cleaned. They seem to be sturdy. This blue is almost a periwinkle."

Solid Trainers

"I bought these for intermediate-advanced level weightlifting and volume strength training. They feel supportive/grounding during squats and deadlifts, yet flexible enough in the forefoot for reverse and walking lunges. True to size - no break-in needed - unbox and get swole."

Excellent, stable trainer

"Love the CXT-3's. They are more comfortable and stable "lock down" feel than the 2's. I'm a strength coach and I can wear these during my sessions with no problem, as well as workout in them. Also love that they have a wide toe box and don't scrunch your feet. These are one of the better trainers I've owned in the last 5 or 6 years--and I've owned NoBull's, metcons, adidas, and TYR."

Solid & Stable with a lifting bias

"Great training shoes if you use them for mainly lifting with a little cross-training thrown in. They take a little breaking in, but they have amazing ground feel and the outsole is very grippy. Not great for any amount of running. I get a lot of compliments on the Acid Bath colorway, but one nit-pick item is that the laces do not stay tied unless you double-knot them. Not the best for HIIT training."

Buy these now!!

"These are it. If you do CrossFit or any type of strength training, buy these! I’ve tried soo many other brands and these knock nearly all of them out of the water. The fit is perfect, the upper mesh is exquisite, and the toe box is wonderful. I’ve never loved a training shoe right out of the box until I tried these on. Buy them today!"

Great but. .

"Pretty much immediately, the shoe started to yellow around the mesh. So I don't know if it's a manufacturing defect or what, but that's my only complaint about the shoe. Otherwise, it's great, but the nice white clean look is kind of ruined immediately."

Worst CrossFit shoe ever

"I would just buy cheap Reebok nanos from now on. Tired of wasting time and money that aren’t event close to advertised. Too stiff of material, toe box too large, horrible for short 200 m runs, and I’m so over trying that to find a great hybrid, CrossFit shoe that don’t deliver one bit. Do not recommend and you should look at past bad reviews because they are accurate."
