Ottesen Dominates 2011 European Short Course Championships

Huntington Beach, CA – Denmark’s Jeanette Ottesen captured two gold medals and one silver medal at the 2011 European Short Course Championships in Szczecin, Poland. Ottesen won the 100 fly with a time of 56.22. That time currently ranks her third in the world this year. Ottesen also won gold in the 4x50 medley relay with the TYR sponsored Danish Federation. Ottesen just missed a third gold in the 100 freestyle where she placed second with a 52.05, placing her second in the current world rankings.
