Team TYR Turns Heads at the 2015 IRONMAN World Championship

TYR_Kona Kailua-Kona, HI- October 11, 2015- Team TYR turned heads in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, as they swam, biked and ran their way through the 2015 IRONMAN World Championship. Third to emerge from the water, Ironman Champion Andy Potts dominated the first leg of the race with a time of 50:45. Finishing in fourth place overall, he was the second fastest American of the day. Powered by their Torque Pro Swimskins, female team TYR athletes also dominated the swim, with Jodie Swallow first out of water. Haley Chura and Danish sensation Michelle Vesterby finished roughly one minute behind her. Completing the race in fourth place, Vesterby had a breakthrough performance with an overall time of 9:18:50. This was her first top five finish at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.
